Duration: 4 Days (9am to 4:30pm each Day)

of the 1st of November 2009 – our ACT Work Safety Representative
Training Course will gain additional qualifications!
In
addition to completing Work Safety Representative, Participants
will also be assessed throughout the course to fulfil the

Course Information:

This training course (accredited by ARC
and the ACT OH&S Council as well as recognised by
WorkCover and the ACT OH&S Commissioner) provides
Workplace Safety Representatives (WSRs) with the skills
& knowledge necessary to effectively represent their
workgroups as required by the ACT Work Safety Act 2008
& ACT Work Safety General Regulation 2009. |

Instructs WSRs how to identify hazards, conduct risk
assessments, negotiate and promote health, safety &
welfare in the workplace. |

Participants receive a workbook, an information
CD & a 'Statement of Attainment' certificate on the
