Course Information:
Duration: 5 Days* (9am to 5pm
each day)
Cost: $650 per participant (as at July 2008)
*In
April 2010 the Safety, Rehabilitation and Compensation Council
(SRCC) released the Guideline - Health and Safety Representative
Training in the Commonwealth jurisdiction. As
of the 1st of July 2010 (In order to meet the SRCC
accreditation) our Commonwealth Health and Safety
representative courses will be 35 hours duration, over
5 days.
All
accredited providers of Commonwealth Health & Safety
Representative Training are required to fulfil these training
times.

This nationally recognised, and Comcare
Accredited, training course provides HSRs with the skills
& knowledge necessary to effectively represent their
workgroups as required by the Commonwealth Occupational
Health & Safety Act 1991. |

Instructs HSRs how to identify hazards, conduct risk
assessments, negotiate and promote health, safety &
welfare in the workplace. |

Participants receive a workbook, an information
CD & a 'Statement of Attainment' certificate on the
successful completion of the course. |
